Welcome to Fit Mom Connection

Hey there,

I am Brooke Campbell, owner and founder of Fit Mom Connection. No matter how you found me, I am so glad that you did because I am here to empower you to take care of yourself first so that you can embrace motherhood wholeheartedly.

At this moment, I am seated at my home office, looking out the window to the front yard, savoring how I feel safe, free and energized.  I am grateful to have this time to write in a way that allows me to fully express my knowledge, opinions and feelings.

My kids are all healthy and in good hands, allowing me to focus on serving my audience of mothers, just like you, who desire to find a way to take care of yourselves so that you can feel better, no matter what is going on in our world of uncertainty.

I am excited for the opportunity to reach more people and help you on your journey to get more out of life by simplifying, savoring what you have in this moment and committing time to daily self-care so that you can thrive as a mother.

Wow, that got deep very quickly!  I guess that’s what happens when you get some time to yourself to be mindful and have present moment awareness.

I would like to thank you for joining me on this journey.  For the past several years, I have been doing some soul searching for a way to go beyond the walls of where I currently work to help even more people, specifically moms, enjoy a sense of well-being that comes from focus and dedication to self-care.

I have spent the past 16 years with an amazing career in worksite fitness and wellness.  Seriously, I have the best job ever.  I get to wear workout clothes to work (most of the time) and I literally get in front of healthcare workers and get them all to stretch/flex/groove their bodies because it is a great way to relieve stress and put a dash of fun into often serious environments.  The best part about what I do is establishing relationships with people and helping them to understand how valuable they are and how much they deserve to give themselves the time for self-care.

This all sounds like I am living the dream, right?  That, unfortunately, isn’t always the truth.  I am seriously concerned about the speed we are traveling in our culture today. And I am saddened by the pressure moms feel to do-it-all and think that we need to bounce back to our pre-pregnancy way of looking and being.

I am just as guilty as everyone else. I could write a blog a day about all the things I do to make life too complicated, to make silly mistakes because I am not listening well enough or paying enough attention to what’s happening in the moment.  So why would you want to listen to someone who is not practicing what she is preaching?

Well, hopefully you value honesty as much as I do and would like to embrace this experience with me.  Anyone who knows me, would say that I like to tell stories, ask questions, share what others have taught me through their stories, all while making people smile and laugh regularly.  I always strive to get people “to lighten up a little” and to be understanding of both sides of the story.

Back to the point….why would you want to take advice from me?

Here’s why: Not only have I given birth four times and have been raising kids for nearly ten years, but I also believe in and follow the idea of “balance, variety and moderation” with almost everything in life. I also practice self-care nearly every. single.day.  With that as the foundation, I intend to build a platform with the mission to empower mothers to take care of themselves first so they can embrace motherhood wholeheartedly.

So if you think you want to hang out with me, here is how:

Explore my website www.fitmomconnection.com to learn more about my mission and how I help mothers to feel better during and after pregnancy through in-person and virtual group exercise classes, personal training and wellness coaching.  My 30-Day Self-Care Challenge was created with so much heart for care providers and wanting to offer something simple and effective with results that can be noticed almost immediately.

Follow me on social media where I will regularly share blog posts, “Fit Mom Moment” videos, inspirational messages and stories. Most importantly, I want to bring mothers together to talk about the tough stuff- to support one another- and to move forward in a way that helps us feel like “we’ve got this!”

Let’s do this, together: simplify our lives, savor our moments and blessings, and shine with joy and abundant energy!

I am so grateful for this opportunity!
